| July 1st, July 3rd, July 6th and July 8th 2006, Toronto Festival of Fire
The Toronto Office produced four displays for Ontario Place’s Festival of Fire, sponsored by Canada Dry. Representing various countries, including our own, is an honour, and we are very pleased that the event was a huge success for all involved.
The designer, Benoit Berthelet, did an outstanding job on the choreography, and really topped each show with the next!
| | July 15th 2006, Quebec A memorable return to the Centre of the Earth...
Concept Fiatlux was proud to be part of the impressive multimedia production “Return to the Centre of the Earth” with Rick Wakeman during Quebec’s Summer Festival, being responsible for all of the pyrotechnics and special effects in the production. It was an incredible show freely adapted from Jules Vernes’s novel, Voyage of the Centre of the Earth. Many musicians where invited to create this symphony orchestra, like Annie Villeneuve, Fabiola Toupin, and the legendary group Yes.
| | July 15th 2006, Montreal An accomplishment at La Ronde!
On July 15th, 2006 Concept Fiatlux was honoured to represent Canada at L'International Des Feux Loto-Quebec at La Ronde! The show, titled "Symphonic Voices with Pyrotechnic Variations”, was not a story being told, but rather a journey to be experienced. Designer Michel Rioux successfully used many low level effects to invite the crowd into the journey, and to a whole new level with close firing platforms and aquatic shells. We are extremely proud of the outcome of the display, and we are looking forward to the announcement of the winner on July 29th.
